Chrysula Winegar is the founder of Wake Up World Communications (a Trumeau, Inc. company). A communicator, agitator and mother, she has had an extensive career in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States in marketing communications with companies like Ernst & Young, NatWest UK and Estee Lauder Companies. In more recent years she’s focused on strategic digital engagement with organizations like the United Nations Foundation and others. Chrysula has degrees from the University of Queensland and the University of London. Her personal blog, “When You Wake Up A Mother”, is an ode to her belief that mothers are powerful beyond measure. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and their four children.
Jenny Eckton has been blogging since 2005 at formerlyphread.com, writes regularly for the Million Moms Challenge and around the web. She is a regular conference presenter at social media influencer events, including BlogHer, Story@Home, and evo (the Evolution of Women in Social Media). Currently she serves in the Mentor Circle for the United Nations Foundation’s Shot@Life campaign that raises awareness and funding to provide life-saving vaccines for children in developing countries. She is also a triathlete, and ran her first 1/2 marathon and first Ragnar relay this year. Jenny and her husband Darin have been married for over 16 years, live in Provo, Utah, and have six children (5 living, 1 in heaven).
Holly Rosen Fink has a career that spans the world of television and publishing, including positions at Lifetime Television, Nickelodeon/MTV, Oxygen Media and John Wiley & Sons. She is currently the founder and CEO of Pivoting Media, a marketing consultancy that focuses on mindful social media. She blogs at TheCultureMom.com and is a freelance writer. She has contributed to the ABC Million Mom Campaign, ONE Moms mission Shot at Life and has worked with Every Mother Counts, Save the Children and Mothers2Mothers. She has produced three seasons of Listen to Your Mother and several NYC theater productions. She lives in Larchmont, NY with her family.
Dresden Shumaker started blogging at CreatingMotherhood in 2005 as a way to chronicle her journey as an unconventional single mother and a fulltime caregiver. Her posts on Alzheimer’s and caregiving have led to wonderful partnerships with the AARP Caregiver’s network and many other centers for aging. Dresden has also shared openly about the time her family was homeless needed and help from public assistance. Her posts about food stamps led to a relationship with Feeding America and several writing awards. Dresden is a champion and advocate for all mothers and lives just outside of Philadelphia with her silly son and her amazing mother.
